Harvest Week is a small event in which the heroes of Azeroth honor the fallen champions of the Alliance and Horde. The event is active from September 18 to September 25, and is celebrated outside the walls of Orgrimmar and Stalgorn.
Festive Feasts
The tables are heaving with feasts and viands. Join the feasts held outside the walls of Orgrimmar and Stalgorn. Players can commemorate their faction's fallen heroes with food and drink. You can add up to 20 dishes to your inventory. There's no expiration date on these dishes! (However, keeping food in your satchel for months at a time... not so sure that's a good idea)!
- New Harvest Bread
- Fish from the harvest festival
- Meat of the boar from the harvest festival
- Nectar from the harvest festival
Honoring a hero
During Harvest Week, members of each of the two factions can perform a short series of tasks. Pay honors to a great hero of their nation - Thunder Hellcry (Horde) or Uther the Lightbringer (Alliance).
"Hail a Hero."
Beginning and ending of the quest: Yavnir Nashak
After accepting the assignment, the Horde representatives will receive the Tributes to Thunder, after which they should head to the monument to Thunder of Hell's Scream in the Demon's Death Canyon in the Ashwood Forest. Upon reaching the monument, lay tributes to Thunder of Hell's Scream. After completing the quest as a reward, the player will receive the Crying Voice of the Horde, a book describing the deeds of the fallen hero.
"Hail to the Hero".
Beginning and ending of the quest: Wagner the Hammerer
After accepting the quest, the Alliance representatives will receive Uther's Tribute, after which they should travel to Uther's tomb in the Western Plague Lands. Upon reaching the tomb, lay offerings to Uther the Light-bearer. After completing the task as a reward the player will receive In the Name of Light! - a book describing the deeds of the fallen hero.
A few days after completing the quest you will find a Harvest Gift in the mailbox.
New for 2015: After completing this quest you will be able to choose one of the following rewards: Vengeful Spirit Shard, Untamed Spirit Shard, Restless Spirit Shard, Peaceful Spirit Shard. Once used, the character will be enveloped in a colored haze.
